In this particular job, our team was presented with a heavily soiled oven filter as part of an end-of-lease clean. The filter showed extensive brown-black staining from layers of grease and carbon build-up — the kind of deep-set grime that ordinary surface cleaners simply can't tackle.

The client needed a result that would meet property manager inspection standards while also restoring the kitchen’s performance and hygiene — all within a single service visit.

Our professional oven filter cleaning process is designed to safely and thoroughly break down years of built-up grease and grime. Here's how we tackled it:

1. Initial Assessment & Soak
   We began by removing the filters and inspecting the extent of the contamination. The filters were then soaked in a custom hot solution of degreaser and boiling water — formulated to loosen hardened oils and residues without damaging the mesh.

2. Targeted Scrubbing
   Using non-abrasive brushes and microfibre-safe gloves, we gently scrubbed the mesh panels to lift the grime from within the layered structure of the filter. For stubborn spots, we repeated the soak-scrub cycle as needed.

3. Thorough Rinse & Dry
   After removing all loosened contaminants, we thoroughly rinsed the filters under high-pressure hot water, ensuring no soap or grease traces remained. Filters were then air-dried and wiped down to a polished finish.

4. Final Inspection
   The transformation was dramatic — from dark, opaque mesh to a clean, silver-metal finish. The filters looked virtually new, passed all inspection standards, and were ready to be reinstalled.
